Цілі: ввести і первинно закріпити матеріал з теми «Словотвір»; удосконалити навички вивчає читання і писемного мовлення.
Наочність і обладнання: картинки і фотографії на тему «Прогрес і розвиток», підручник англійської мови Биболетова М.З. 10 клас.I. Організаційний момент
- Good morning, pupils!
- Good morning, teacher!
-I'm glad to see you, sit down, please. Who is on duty today? Who is absent?
Ok. What is the weather like today?
- The weather is not frosty, it's snowy outside.
We'll talk about different inventions today. Look at the blackboard. There are some well-known inventions on it.



II. Фонетична зарядка. Активізація лексичних навичок.
Today we are going to learn many new words. Let's practise them. Look at the blackboard and repeat the following words after me. Very well! Now read them one by one please.
(Діти знайомляться з новими словами по темі, згадують вже вивчені слова, закріплюють разом з вчителем їх вимова).

Let's translate them and write down in your dictionaries. Now try to make as many word expressions as you can. (Слабкі діти складають словосполучення, а діти активніше складають речення з цими словосполученнями).

III. Введення і первинне закріплення матеріалу з теми «Словотвір».
Open your books on page 102, look at exercise 50. We are going to talk about word building. Look at the verbs, nouns and adjectives in the table. Let's read the words aloud and translate them. Now complete the table please.
(Діти разом з учителем пригадують основні правила словотворення і застосовують їх для виконання вправи. Можна задати сильним дітям таке завдання: скласти свою власну таблицю зі словами по темі).
Now try to do ex.6 p.53 in your work books.
  
IV. Фізкультхвилинка.
Hands up, hands down, shake, shake,
Stand up on the tiptoes,
Turn around, step aside,
Step left, step right.
(Повторюється кілька разів з прискоренням темпу).

V. Тренування навичок вивчає читання.
Let's read the text from ex.52 on page 102 and find out a new information about a very important invention. You have 3 minutes to do the task.
Are you ready to answer the questions?
. What is the invention?
• Who invented it?
• When it was invented?
• Were there any prototypes?
. Why was the invention necessary?
. What happened to the invention later?
- What new information have you learnt from the text?

VI. Вдосконалення навичок писемного мовлення по темі «Винаходи людства».
Let's remember important inventions and write some sentences about them. Let's read the task of exercise 53, page 102. You will answer the questions from ex.52 and write a short story about the invention of your choice. You have 10 minutes to do the task. You should use the new words about progress and development.
Who is ready to read the story? Listen to each other carefully.
