Урок англійської мови в 9 класі «Чому люди подорожують?», підручник М. З. Биболетовой 9 клас, 2 розділ, перше заняття

"Why do people travel?"

Цілі: розвиток навичок монологічної мови по темі «Подорож та види транспорту»; закріплення граматичних навичок (використання різних часових форм дієслів).

Обладнання: картинки з видами транспорту, таблиця часів дієслова.

Хід уроку

I. Організація початку уроку.

-Good morning, pupils!

- Good morning, teacher!

-I'm glad to see you, sit down, please. How are you today?

P1:i'm Ok, thank you.

-And you?

P2: i'm brilliant, thank you.

-Who is absent today?

II. Мовна зарядка.

Ок, now let's remember some ways of travelling and play. I'll you throw the ball and your task is to say what your favorite kind of travelling is. Then you'll throw the ball to another pupil and ask him or her the same question. Are you ready? Let's start!

T: what's your favorite kind of travelling?

P1: My favorite kind of travelling is by car. What's your favorite kind of travelling?

P2: My favorite kind of travelling is by plane. What's your favorite kind of travelling?

P3: [...]

T: Very well!

III. Активізація матеріалу по темі «Подорож».

T: Have you ever thought why people travel? There are a lot of reasons, could you name some of them?

P: to meet people to study foreign language etc

T: Yes, you are right. Now let's look at exercise 1 page 61. There are several reasons for people to travel. Let's rate these reasons according to their importance. Which one is the most important reason to your mind? Why? And what reason is the least important?
Good job. Now look at exercise 2 page 61. I'll give you a minute to mull over how you personally feel about travelling. Write your ideas down in your exercise books using the example: I would like to travel a lot / I don't like to travel much because...

IV. Розвиток навичок монологічної мови.

T: Look at the pictures at the bottom of the page 61 in your text books please. What do you see?

P: Different ways of travelling.

T: Yes. Some of them are quite exotic, aren't they? Hot air balloons for example. Let's discuss different means of travelling. The word combinations from exercise 3 will help you. First, let's repeat them all together after me. Could you translate them? Now your task is to choose one kind of travelling and tell about it using phrases from exercise 3. I'll give you four minutes to get prepared.
Now let's check your answers.

V. Фізкультхвилинка.

It's time to have a rest now. Sand up please and repeat after me:

Hands on the head

Hands on the hips

Hands on the table

Hands like this

Hands on the shoulders

Hands up and down

Hands behind the head

And sit down.

Діти разом з учителем вимовляють слова зарядки, виконуючи дії, про які в ній говориться. Починають меден, кілька разів, поступово прискорюючи темп.

VI. Удосконалення граматичних навичок.

Look at exercise 4 page 62. Here is a Grammar Focus. There are some examples of Past Simple, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. Let's remember their differences and match the sentences to complete the situations.

Під час виконання вправи демонстрація вчителем таблиці часів, використання граматичного довідника на стр.206 підручника.
